PHOTOS: Crashed Plane Added to Jungle of Doom and More Scare Zone Theming for Halloween Horror Nights 32 at Universal Studios Florida

Universal Studios Florida has more scare zone theming up for Halloween Horror Nights 32. A plane has crashed into the Jungle of Doom, string lights are up at the music fest, and mysterious platforms have appeared for the Dark Zodiac.

Trusses appeared yesterday for the park’s main entrance scare zone, Dr. Oddfellow’s Collection of Horror. Here, the doctor will lure guests into Halloween Horror Nights “with a promise of immortality. As he lifts the veil on all the horrors to come, you’ll soon realize you may not even survive the night.”

Platforms and railings have been added to the top of the trusses.

The platforms don’t quite cover the trusses yet.

The park’s Hollywood section will become the Dark Zodiac scare zone.

A few new platforms have been installed. Their edges have a metallic design.

Atop this platform is a yellow circle and a larger three-tiered circle — like a target.

The outer tier is blue, the middle tier is white, and the center is red.

Another platform is surrounded by temporary fencing.

It has similar circles on it.

There are two small blue circles. One red curve is around a tan section and a yellow circle.

In this scare zone, Dr. Oddfellow has entered a “dark dimension to harness the power of the Zodiac and live forever.”

Over in Central Park, a.k.a. Jungle of Doom, the tail of a crashed plane sticks up out of the ground behind temporary fencing.

It resembles a vintage plane with a green tint.

In blue lettering on the side is “versal Airways,” with “Universal” cut off.

The tail is on a black base that will likely be covered with more theming.

It blocks one of the Central Park entrances.

In addition to the plane, there are several new crates and stone elements throughout the scare zone.

There are several fake stone boxes with iron edges.

The wooden crates are stacked on top of each other. Some have bags on top, too.

Dr. Oddfellow’s “monstrous creations” will run loose in the Jungle of Doom scare zone.

The land’s largest structure resembles the ruins of a temple.

Over at the music fest in the park’s New York section, new string lights have been strung across the street.

The lights have yellow and orange bulbs.

In this scare zone, Dr. Oddfellow releases vampires into the crowd of a Woodstock-like music festival.

Halloween Horror Nights 32 takes place at Universal Studios Florida on select nights from September 1 through November 4. There will be 10 haunted houses:

Guests can visit some of the houses during the day for a lights-on tour with Behind the Screams: Unmasking the Horror.

The five scare zones are all connected to Dr. Oddfellow:
